Ok 7 years passed since my last computer upgrade and I would like critique from the crowd of my proposed build any issues you notice please let me know.

Gigabyte X470 Aorus gaming 5 wifi           $289

G Skill Trident Z 32gb 16-18-18-38-2N            $329

I would personally get the 5700 base.  You pay 800 bones premium for a graphics card that wants a powerful CPU.  IMO I would rather get the 2700x but that is just a opinion no facts.  Where do you live these prices are way to high ?  Your almost paying double the price with the 32GB Kit.  Perhaps your in a different country ?  The PSU is also expensive the motherboard is super expensive.  I mean this is just a way expensive rig and who said the DH-15 is 125 bucks lol.  The DRP4 is 85 bucks and DH-15 around that price.  So if I may ask are you over seas ?  I mean pretty much everything is over priced big time.  I don't know maybe you live in a botched up country lol.  your paying double for RAM ,, and 150 more for CPU and video card card.  Also that price on the case is out of control.  Let us know where you live the LTT gurus will tell you what to get but do tell us your country because those are not US prices.

you don't really need an expensive X470 board for a 3600, a B450 tomahawk will do.

The RX 5700 base is only $100 cheaper and to be honest i see yet another 7 years between this and the next upgrade. That said do you still think 5700 base is the pick?

yeah, neither are gonna last 7 years, 60hz monitor or 144hz monitor. if you're just gaming, drop down to 16gb. save the money for future upgrades when you need them.

This is the cheapest B450 board but no wifi that kinda the reason i went with the Aorus gaming 5 wifi

you can get pci-e wifi adapters.

Pcpartpicker.com is the easiest way to make a parts list for us to read, and we can click the link to copy and edit it.

You went for a pretty expensive case but I left it anyway. This list leaves you the option to choose the aftermarket cooler if you like, but it's not recommended. You could also go with that fancy Trident Z RGB if you prefer, but it's still recommended that you only get 16GB.

Also, make sure to quote people or use @Herman Mcpootis and such to get our attention, or else we won't get notifications.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

The memory, is silly that i know but is it true that its best that I buy 4 dimms because its says somthin like that or is two dimms ok? sorry I  dont understand the nuance between 4 dims or 2

Again, make sure you quote people, otherwise we don't know who you're asking.

2 dimms are easier to run at their rated speeds, that's all. You could get 4 dimms if you really wanted to, but it would have no positive impact since Ryzen can only run dual channel.

Ah also I have owned only 3 computers since I left rural Australia the first was awesome as my GF at the time brother was in IT the others I tried my hand at and both suffered from major issues so i chose the products from the same company because i plan to cop out and pay for them to assemble it super sad face but i want it to be just right this time. Yes i re read over the specs on the MB true its I thought it best to fill all dimms but alas I truly am a tool that should fall from grace and become a console heathen ? only joking
