Hi, I'm Allu From Finland and I'm building my first gaming/working PC. I like to play video games, but also make 3d models, make games, music, video editing, cad, so basically lots of things.
I'm an Nvidia guy And have been using an MSI gaming laptop for 4 years but it broke at the start of the summer.
Any help would be nice.

Budget is something like 2000 euros

I don't care about rgb

Terrible board/cooler for a 3900X. The SSD is also expensive, considering you can get ones just as good for a lot less. Case doesn't have the best airflow either. Also no need to pay extra for 3600 Ram, especially CL18.

You don't really need to spend more than like 1300 EUR going by german prices, whatever an R7 3700X and an RX 5700 XT costs

I'd grab a secondary 4k display for better productivity for like video editing and stuff, a 32" display would be preferred to a 27" display.

AMD easily has the better GPUs for the money right now, you can spend a fair amount more money, but you really won't be getting that much more performance. Especially since your main gaming display is only 1080p 144hz.

Plus navi's new upscaling tech means you can cheat out more performance while still having good visuals, and AMD has the exact same software options as nvidia in the drivers.

Why is the board terrible?

Also how is a Hyper 212 "terrible" for a 3900X?

Because for the 12 core, and a $500 CPU, you should not be buying the cheapest possible motherboard. I'd go with the X570 Gaming Plus at minimum.

And again for a $500 CPU, you can surely spend more on the cooling, like with the Scythe Fuma 2 which is a dual tower cooler for a low price.

But he really probably doesn't need the 12 core, can just save that money for the eventual 16 core CPU if 8 cores isn't enough.

I'm not saying that that ASRock board is amazing or something but I don't see why it's "terrible". Same with the cooler.

I personally went a bit cheap with the mobo & cooler for a better GPU.

8 cores is probably fine too

Already seen that video numerous times. The ram you chose is CL18 which is pretty slow for 3600MHz.

The board has a weak VRM and won't handle a 3900X. The cooler is also sub par. An Arctic Freezer 34 esports duo is already better for the same sort of money.

How about this setup

That's a decent build but:

1) it's the US version meaning it won't be the same component availability as there in Finland and also, most importantly, there will be a price difference.

2) it's already ~$1600 (which is about 2000EUR anyway) and you haven't even taken into account the price of the RTX 2080 Super you've put there which will surely overshoot your stated budget of 2000EUR. I would stick to something closer to what @Streetguru or @LukeSavenije suggested before.

Also, I would swap the thermal paste for kryonaut as conductonaut is electrically conductive (I believe) and not worth the risk for the minimal improvement in thermal transfer, in my opinion at least.

Should really just get the RX 5700 XT, it's great for the money, a 2080 super is something like 15-20% faster, but for twice the price.

Otherwise you can get really cheap windows 10 keys on ebay that work fine for like $5.

And you don't need the most expensive motherboard, one of the 200 EUR like the Gaming plus, ASUS TUF, or Gigabyte Elite will be fine.
