So I was just curious if you guys would mind giving me some opinions. I built my current PC maybe 4 or 5 years ago. Since then I have upgraded the cpu and the gpu. It still runs games for me really well, but im curious.

My question though is if I sold what I currently have what could I get for close to the profit with today's current Ryzen stuff. I really dont keep up with benchmarks and what not. I have an I7 4790k,  gigabyte z97n-wifi, 16gb of ram and a 1070Ti

would likely keep the video card.

Do you use any pro HT apps like Premiere and Photoshop and Illustrator or CAD work or 3D design then grab a Ryzen 3800 and if you have the money get the 3900.  However if you don't use the above mentioned apps on a regular basis you can get a Ryzen 3600 and it will def up your frame rates noticeably.
