transfer application from hdd to ssd

Hi I installed a ssd in my moms laptop as windows will no longer boot on it.windows recovery did nothing). I can still access it from an external enclosure. Is there any easy way to transfer the quickbooks  application from the external hdd to the ssd?

Not sure how the quickbooks files works. potentially easiest way is to look for the user files within the quickbooks folder and copy them to a clean install of quickbooks on the SSD. Alternatively, you could clone the HDD onto the SSD. although if it was the original windows that was broken this may not be the best idea.
