The 3600mhz kit will perform better. Not only is it clocked higher, it also has better timings. That said, if you need 32GB, go for the 32GB.

If you are just gaming then 32GB is completely unnecessary.

Gaming sometimes streaming or recoring, twitch etcetc

The only reason to have over 16GB of Ram in a gaming PC would be if you are planning on streaming/high resolution video editing, 16GB is plenty for just gaming, hell you can stream comfortably with 16gb of ram as well. I have 16GB of ram and stream occasionally and edit/render 2k video regularly and 16GB is perfectly fine. If OP is only going to be doing some heavy gaming/basic use like Youtube and Twitch viewing then 16GB is all they will need.

Oh lol you are the OP... yeah if it will be mainly for gaming and you're just going to be doing light streaming some video editing here and there then the 16GB 3600mhz kit should work nicely. If you were planning on doing a lot of streaming and some high resolution/large video projects then the 32GB would be more beneficial.

also get a sabrent rocket 1tb instead. Better performance at £110. a lot more endurance and 95percent of speed (in some cases more).

Mine came today, amazon said it was out of stock just ignore it their systems being dodgy.

the case it comes in is so sexy too. its the same drive as the m510.

just a reminder you shouldnt go above 50% storage capacity for ssd's and especially for your 660p cuz its 4 bit.

you only need 32 gigs for gaming on some stupid machines. my alienware uses 9 gigs idle i think its ill or something

Alienware's have a literal crap ton of bloatware, the newest version of Adwcleaner removes bloatware. Also if you are using Windows 10 make sure to disable background apps and all the windows statistics options.

Have you tried a fresh install of Windows 10? 9GB idle is a lot, yeah send it back then build your own. You could probably build a nicer PC anyway. Here in the US Alienware PCs are way overpriced.
