Hi! I'm not sure if this is the forum to post it in, but I figured it is a GPU focused question.

I'm looking into getting a new laptop and I'm looking to future proof it. I was debating if it is worth getting one with a 1660 TI or a RTX card (Max-Q). I want to get the best bang for the buck for the next years to come and looking for some advice.

Thank you ❤️

I have a 2060 but wish I woulda gotten the 1660ti and saved some $$. Only thing I've done with RTX is the damn Quake 2 demo. All the benchmarks even are paid software, so I really haven't done a damn thing with RTX.

And really to make use of it properly, you'd need 2070 levels of hardware or better. Kinda like how the GTX 970 was memory gimped, but anything that used more than 4GB at the time would needed a 980 class GPU anyway.
