(Solved) Best looking and its alternatives silver/gray RAM kit?

Hello everyone..

 

Im having a hard time finding the best looking 2x8gb >3000MHz DDR4 kit in silver color non RGB.

 

Why no RGB?

Because all RAMs will be seen on their top edge rather than on their face plate.

RGB light will be always a light and can never show silver/grey light.

 

The best looking silver/grey kit for my criteria is the Team T-Force Dark, but man, they are out of stock everywhere in most of local stores, there are only the 2x8gb 2400MHz and 2x4gb 3000MHz ones, none of 2x8gb 3000MHz one.

 

Here's how it looks like from above,

 

I need a 2x8gb 3000mhz or higher in silver/grey without RGB as alternative of this one. The Corsair Dominator has silver top edge but it's too plain and boring.

 

What can you guys think of this type of RAM that is looked good from above?

silver is just non -glossy / dull grey, doesnt shine up if you have insufficient light source

do you like gskill neo/ royal?

I was originally about to Gskill but that RGB light is out of my criteria. And the Royal is just a worse option than the normal gskill, too shiny.

 

The non RGB Gskill kits are also out of stock.

 

Im using plain white lights inside the case.

This ones are decent alternatives, I assume you referred to the Sport LT and the the Tracer, no? Those are decent, I keep these in mind but still want to search for more alternatives.

Agree that it's a very good looking silver kit, but only from side view, it's RGB all over the top edge.

That is exactly what I wanted but no luck in finding them locally, only full of the 2x8gb 2400mhz or 2x4gb 3000mhz kits. I need 2x8gb 3000mhz.

I dont buy stuff overseas.

Try searching "ddr4" on google images, and set the color to gray.

The Patriot Viper Steel looks real nice actually but the portion of silver vs black is dominated by black. But it looks really nice from above tho..

 

 

I might consider this and the Ballistix Sport/Tactical.

 

I see the Viper Steel are available locally.

GPU will be custom looped RX 5700XT inside silver Evolve Shift and full nickel EK Velocity CPU block.

Originally I planned to use a silver Barrowch FBLTFHI-04N CPU block but it's also out of stock, then EK Velocity instead, and took the full nickel for its full silver coating.

Oy!

 

Before I execute to buy the Patriot Viper Steel kit, I found a local retailer who still have the last 2x8gb 3000mhz T-Force Dark in silver/gray.

 

I grabbed as fast as I can. It cost me equivalent to $96 US, but I dont mind because this kit is getting rare locally, and it has Samsung IC's on it which is nice to have. I wished it is the ROG Certified version of T-Force Dark to get the auto instant 3200mhz OC with tight timings on ASUS ROG motherboard but nevermind..

 

This is the best looking silver/gray non-RGB RAM kit that we have.

Man, I really like the look of this kit!

 

I'm glad to finally managed to get one..

 

Move on to the build!
