Possible ways to project the screen of a Nexus 6P to a monitor

So, a member of my family dropped a Nexus 6P and broke the screen.

 

However, the phone itself still works, meaning that it is still responding to the touch (it may actually be a small portion of the screen, I am not sure), finger print still works, we even accidentally dialed 911. 

 

Is there anyway to project the screen on to a monitor or something without us actually being able to see what is going on physically on the device itself?

chrome cast is your only option, but you still need setup connection through your broken screen
