Hello Guys

I have from a LOT off time this problem, when I try to download something on steam I go up to like 602KB/s and then it drops on 600KB/s.

I have tried to search a solution but I see that the problem is not so wide spread.

Anyone has any ideas of how to stop this limit??

I''ve tried these tricks.

Change Region, change Bandwidth, checked Firewall Settings.

Well I have between 20 - 30 Mbps and 5Mbps in Download. I should get AT LEAST 2.5MB/s right now.

Check for client updates, if that's not the issue, then try to use the beta client, that might help.

I alredy did that, I just switched from Beta to normal Client but nothing...

What's your download region set to?

Also, are you downloading over a wireless or wired connection?

Also, Also, do a speed test to check if this issue is isolated to steam or if it's a system wide issue.

If you have access to a wired connection, try to do a speed test on both wireless and wired, just to see if there are any significant differences.

If you are in the EU you should set your download region to whatever is closest to you. Is Canada the closest download region to where you live?

Nope, but I did that because I read when I was searching about this problem that you shouldn't connect to the region you're in but in other ones, I think I've alredy tried to do that but I'll do it now.

Well.. In Geforce Experience I got one time like 2.9MB/s so I really don't know what steam servers have against me xD

Tried to do a speed test recently? Maybe try one now, if it's not throttled, then there may be something with steam.
