Hey guys!

recently bought a new pc and im using a asrock x370 pro4. i have a msi armor rx580 and a ryzen 5 2600x and corsair 2x8 3000mhz ram ( i thnink oc)

sometimes when im starting my pc i get the usual blinking stripe or bar in the left top corner and then it just keep on blinking.
My fix is to just restart the pc few times and in between i turn the power supply on and off. but as you can imagine im kinda worried. i dont know what it is.

I also have this problem that xmp wont work, then i get the same issue and now im stuck at 2133 but my ram can go up to 3000mhz.

I was considering a bios update but ive never done this and there are many options at asrock, plus all the warnings.

What do you guys think? thanks for your help!

Do you have multiple XMP profiles in your BIOS? If not, try manually setting the ram to like 2800 or something

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Sounds more like an operating system problem, once you see that blinking bar it's the disk trying to read

It's possibly trying to boot to the hard drive, which has no operating system. What happens when you manually select the boot device?
