3700x system has been randomly restarting. I don't know whats the cause, it crashes while on idle, there are no event logs, even with WhoCrashed. The only bios settings i've changed are qfan settings and: 4.275x multiplier, 1.3V and docp profile for ram. If i set it to 4.3 @1.3v it works flawlessly but if i set it to anything else, even completely stock it will reboot. Clean windows install, clean nvidia driver install, clean chipset install (from motherboard page).

Seems to me as a unstable OC.

you run any stress tests after Manually OCing your cpu?

edit; just seen it also does this on stock. What psu do you have?

So it reboots even when you revert back to factory? Have you tried "Load Optimized Defaults"? Did the system experience this behavior before you started overclocking? If not, you may have damaged the board. Can you provide full system specs?

if u expect to run at 1.3v 4.3ghz with all cores... ur crazy.  dont even try, no wonder it crashes at even idle

i can run 4.3 @1.3v (i've set the multiplier to 43x and vcore to 1.3 in bios) and ran aida64 and prime95 for 12h both no issues. I've only reverted cause csgo doesn't work properly on 4.3x but does on 4.275x ...

CSGO doesn't work properly on 4.3? please elaborate. You're experiencing stutters or crashes at 4.3?

this is what happens with csgo if i run 4.3:

no stutters, no crashes at 4.3. I can't speak too quick but after disabling chrome hardware acceleration i haven't experienced a reboot yet and i've had the pc on all the time.

The video states they're running an i7, But you said you have a Ryzen 7 3700x. So this is someone else's video who you experience the same symptoms with?

Intel Core i7 9700F / Cooler Master 212 Evo / GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER / 16 GB G.SKILL RAM @ 2666MHz / GA-B365M-DS3H / EVGA 500w PSU

HP Pavilion Gaming 15 / Ryzen 5 4600H / GeForce GTX 1050 / 8 GB @ 3200MHz

Based on this video I don't believe this to be a hardware issue. This is more than likely a software issue. Revert back to your 4.3 overclock, completely uninstall the game ensuring to remove all cache data and configuration files then reinstall.

yea i seem to be in minority. I've seen a few people with 3700xs running 4.3 with issues like these in csgo

but it is stable lol. Turns out it was chrome HW acceleration. Running 4.3 @ 1.3v again now, tested it with prime95 overnight no issues.
