Is it worth risking changing xmp on tomahawk

I would like my ram to run at the speed i bought it at however i have held back doing it due to my ryzen 3000 series is not well optimised for the b450's especially the tomahawk, everything has been working fine but i dont know if the risk is worth taking?

I don't think there's any risk in doing it, besides you can always set it back to where it was

you can reset the CMOS by removing the silver coin battery for a bit

It's really not, ever had anything that used a watch/flat battery? You just take it out wait like 2sec and put it in the same way you took it out.

If your ram speed is below 3433mhz then i would just turn on the XMP.

Also do you have 4 sticks of ram, or 2?

I only see your reply if you @ me.

What speed?

But 2 sticks should run even 3600mhz fine.
