I got a hp probook 440 g6 and it got a nvidia MX250 in it. I played some minecraft with shaders like 20 mins ago and turned it off after like 10 min, but still after like 10 mins of no use on the nvidia mx250 its still in the high 50-55c. I use HWmonitor to check and from my personal usage its pretty accurate. It also got a intel HD grapichs 620 which it mainly uses, so the nvidia mx250 is only being used when a game is open, but i havent had any games open for the last 10 mins. The mx250 is at 0% usage too. The fan also seems to ramp up then down every like 1 sec, and keeps on goin on and on and on. Its a bit irritating but nothing major. Maybe i could try to replace the thermal paste on it? cuz the only time it do go down in temperature is after a reboot, or just a really really long wait time.

Honestly I don't think the cooling solution in this model can handle an extra dGPU

Is the fan spinning fast enough
