Can't make a limited post unless you were a moderator. Best bet is just to slide into them DMs.

Mostly gaming. Currently 47970K, Z97 Killer, 16GB. Im noticing some decrease , not much. But would like a good upgrade pathe for future part swapped. Ive noticed FPS drop in some games. Also would love an NVMe drive.

Or am i just being picky?

Ok now we are talking, do you have a budget in mind, and are you set on staying intel or thinking of going amd? Reusing your 1070?

Was thinking AMD this time ( more cores less price( even tho ive seen OC isnt great but doesnt really matter, ive done that with last CPU's.Was thinking $700, but with sales lower.

I had bad experience with my last AMD, 8120. Switched to intel.

That price would include CPU, mobo, RAM, and NVMe

Im more worried about the MHz speed. Gonna do research on the H105 if its compatible with newer AMD's.

PS thanks for taking the time to help
