Issues with monitor ingame displaying

So, i think i'm going mental but i have no other way of explaining this. So about, a month ago, i changed my startup SSD with a new one, since i could use more storage to start some programs that i use regularly faster. Ever since then, i kept getting weird and sudden FPS drops while playing games like CSGO and Overwatch, for example in CSGO : from 2xx down to 60-70, for about 1 to 2 seconds, then it went back to normal. This behaviour occurs constantly for every 10 seconds or so. I thought this was my system issues, and tried :

Changing settings
Reinstall the game / verify integrity game files
move games to different drives (since i use SSD for startup and External HDD for storage)
Reinstall Windows

And i couldn't fix the issue.

Then i stopped playing games because i couldn't find a way to fix the problem. Then about a week ago, i bring my laptop out to my friend's house to play games, and surprisingly, the game performance was constantly on point, no sudden drops, the same as before when i changed the SSD, for straight up 6+ hours of gameplay.

Then i went home to try and figure out the problems, and then i found out that, if i connect my laptop to my monitor, the monitor would display these sudden drops, but ingame, with FPS monitoring on, the game has no issues. That's why initially when i even tried to screencapturing my ingame performance and rewatch the footage, nothing happened. The connection that im running is HDMI to HDMI on the monitor. I have no idea what is the problem, especially before the SSD swaps, i played the games fine with this connection to the monitor.
