As mentioned in the title I am planning on building my first ever own system. Currently i am having a little trouble deciding what I want in the system because I will generally use it for gaming and some light/medium 3D modelling/rendering and photoshop. A friend of mine has helped me a bit with getting a list of components for the build, but I am unsure if this is really the best I can get for my money. I live in the Netherlands and the parts here a bit more expensive here than in America. My budget is €1800 for the pc, all the other peripherals I already own, so no need for those.

As mentioned above I will most likely use this pc for gaming and schoolwork, my current setup is a 144hz 1080p monitor, but I planning to replace that one with 2 144hz 1440p in the future.

I made my build on a site called Azerty (if you live in the EU this will most likely be recognizable). Here are 2 examples of what I with the help of my friend put together. Would love your opinion and/or tips on these builds. Also have no clue as to what the real difference is between ryzen and intel, or if there really is a difference for my purposes with the computer.

Ryzen build: https://azerty.nl/basket/?code=YTo5OntpOjI5NDAwMDQ7aToxO2k6MTU5MzMxMDtpOjE7aToyNzY1MTg0O2k6MTtpOjIzNjgyNTY7aToxO2k6MTU2MDE5OTtpOjE7aToyOTQxMTk5O2k6MTtpOjI0OTk3NDY7aToxO2k6MjI2Mzc0MjtpOjE7aToyOTc3NDQwO2k6MTt9

Intel buid: https://azerty.nl/basket/?code=YTo5OntpOjE1OTMzMTA7aToxO2k6Mjc2NTE4NDtpOjE7aToyMzY4MjU2O2k6MTtpOjE1NjAxOTk7aToxO2k6MjQ5OTc0NjtpOjE7aToyMjYzNzQyO2k6MTtpOjI5Nzc0NDA7aToxO2k6MjY0Mzg4NTtpOjE7aToyNjQzMTUxO2k6MTt9

P.S.: I am sorry if this isn't the right way to do it, I just made this account after figuring out that this forum was here and wanted some advice. Thanks in advance.

(For those who are interested I am currently gaming and working on a laptop I bought 2-2,5 years ago. I dont find it outdated at all but it can't run everything as smooth as I would like XD. It's a Medion Erazer x7853. link: https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/903633/medion-erazer-x7853-md60603-nl/specificaties/)

I building pretty much exactly the same thing for a friend of mine atm.

Id lean towards the amd system. Personally i wouldnt go for a x570 mb at least as of now because of the active cooling it needs while not giving a ton of actual benefits.

Also personal opinion, i would always use a bequiet PSU over a corsair one.

cheaper with similar performance. its got a worse GPU that allows a lot of cost savings, tho you loose about 10% performance.
