wanna know if my overclock result is good or garbage

i really want to know if my overclock result is good enough

my specs are:

Ryzen 7 3700X@4.1GHz all core
ASUS Prime X470-Pro w/ latest BIOS ofc

Teamgroup T-force Delta RGB White 16GB@3200Mhz, XMP enabled

Jonsbo CR-201 Tower Cooler(135W)

Phanteks Eclipse P300 TG

LianLi Bora Lite 120X3(2 in the front and 1 at the back, no top fans)

650W 80+ Bronze PSU from EVGA

running 4.1 all core @1.275V, idle at 50 degrees Celcius, full load at 95, room temp is 29(ik it's hot...)

fan curve is set to standard and GPU(2070 non-super)isn't overclocked

it managed to survive 5 cinebench r20 runs in a row

stock all core boost was 3.8 at 80 degrees

thanks in advance

but what should i get...single 120? dual 120? or even dual 140?
i'm open to suggestions, but i want white one to match my theme

cinebench is a waste of time, and will happily run when you have multiple core power failure's when running prime95

download Mandelbulber from here and then open up the orbittrap002.fract example project and click render in the top right

why you don't feel good ? I don't use AIO because I don't feel good about AIO's XD

thought tower is cheaper and looks better when i bought it, turned out it wasn't my taste

yeah it's just aesthetic taste :v

dual 140, and have peace and quiet while being able to overclock to the maximum https://www.thermaltake.com/water-3-0-riing-red-280.html

sitting on idle with a FX8300 @ 4.78Ghz, you can hardly hear it, nor during most game's

sorry but I'm looking for white one, and not just the lights, tubing and block should be white at minimum

RGB w/aura support for bonus point, not necessary tho

btw thx for the prime95, my system crashed after like 5 mins lol

your RAM timings are wrong if it froze, power failure's to CPU core's will just giving a message in a thread window, and you need more power to them

i doubt it's a ram issue, since i only enabled XMP and nothing else, and when i say crashed i mean the system just turned off itself

anyways i guess i'll live with just PBO, system didn't survived 3.9Ghz@1.35V and i don't think more voltage/less clock will make much sense to me

you useless bronze 650w PSU ran out of power, they are 80% efficient, while titanium are 95% efficient, your PSU is really a 520w PSU, while the other 130w is lost to magnetic field's, if your PSU is pulling 650w from the wall

This is wrong. PSUs are rated on the DC side. A 650w PSU can output 650w. The efficiency of the PSU does not impact it output capability. 80% 650w would draw 812W from the wall where and 95% would draw 684w from the wall.

The Eclipse P300 doesn't have the best airflow due to the restricted front cover.

I would first check/confirm temperatures again with the front panel OFF first, before dropping money on a new CPU cooler.

If you are going to get an AIO, considering looking at a thick 140mm AIO, or 240mm or 280mm sized one. An AIO with a single 120mm will not perform any better than a mid-level metal tower CPU cooler. The 120mm size limits the radiator size, and the cooling capacity. It can only handle so much heat before it gets over saturated -- heat soaked.
