Is there a performance difference between 2070 Super and 2080?

Just wondering how much of a performance difference would there be between a RTX 2070 Super vs a RTX 2080 non super?

Asking because theres a sale for an EVGA RTX 2080 FTW3 making it $60 more than a EVGA RTX 2070 Super XC Ultra and cheaper than even a EVGA RTX 2080 Black.

Not enough of one to justify buying a 2080 over a 2070 Super, in my opinion.

Hm so a 2070 Super is near 2080 performance? Sorry not related to my original question but what do you think of XC Ultra vs FTW3? If same 2070 but FTW3 costing $20 more

Also remember that in raw performance a 2080 is basically just a 1080 Ti, so unless you really love the other minor things they've added (RTX, video encoder, etc.) make sure the price is similar to what you could get a 1080 Ti for too or you're being had.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Well, it should be less.  That was definitely the case at launch and they should only have fallen since, meanwhile I'm not aware of any price changes to the 2080 since it's still the current card afaik

Might be upgrading this Fall during the sales, 1010 g1. What would be a better upgrade for AMD or RTX? Sooy getting off topic

I could buy a 1080ti but they are the same price as the EVGA 2070 Super XC despite being used. Also not too particularly fond of used cards as I dont know how they were used.

Fair enough, don't do that then.  To be fair you have to compare new to new, and used to used.  I know new 1080 tis are hard if not impossible to find now so just keep the price they once were in mind ?
