Normally when you upgrade RAM or touch anything internally you would need to remove the external battery block first.

What about nowadays integrated batteries are inside and usually need to take off the whole bottom panel.

I've seen "disassembly/upgrade" videos on Youtube where they don't even unplug the battery when they install RAM or new SSD,

Are those integrated batteries less susceptible to frying the motherboard?

Best practice is to unplug the battery before doing any servicing. But for the most part you'll be fine as long as you ground yourself and don't bridge together any connections or solder points on the board.

Can it still run without battery pack like older laptops? via just Power cable?

Sometimes I want to save the battery capacity as it's plugged in all day so could I remove integrated battery in same way?

You can, at least for the laptops I've worked with. This mainly applies to the HP EliteBook series. I would imagine the same can be done for most makes and models. The issue is that it's more hassle and its worth. My ASUS Vivobook for example has a sealed battery so I've been using their battery health utility. What it essentially does it limit the charge to around 60%.

How does the Utility work and where do I get it?? I have Asus laptop too but now the battery only lasts like 30mins-1hr.

Also that's why I asked the original question because I'm looking for new laptop maybe Dell and they don't have the removable battery blocks!

I was maybe avoiding the integrated batteries but you almost change my mind.

Mine came preinstalled but you can download it directly from their website. https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1032726/

Depending on how well your laptop still performs outside of the battery, might not be a bad idea to perhaps invest in a replacement battery.

Yeah I was probably gonna replace battery down the line but definitely won't be buying another Asusbook anytime soon. Bad "support" for my current model which only few years old!
