WIN10 Killing My FPS! WTF just Upgraded from Win7 w/ RT 5700XT

Win 10 Killing my FPS... WTF?

 

So here is a little story all about how ... my FPS got flipped Upside Down...

 

Get'n All Excited... cuz Borderlands 3 is about to Pop... 

 

Went all out and Dropped about a $K ... So that me and the wife could get down with the Cross-Play...

 

Hit up NewEgg for the Gear I Needed...

 

A New AMD RT 5700 TX Card with a Shinny New X-box One S for the Wife!

 

Got Home and Popped it in...

 

FPS Shot up like a Rockets 120-240 FPS Highest Detail on Win7 - Borderlands 2

 

But hit a Snag to Cross-Platform w/ the Xbox, I needed to get Windows 10...

 

So knowing my True Love for Win 7 was coming to an end...

 

Made the decided to take the bullet for the team and Upgrade to 10...

 

I fired up Boarderlands 2 and...

 

30 FPS ON LOW SETTINGS & GLITCHIE AS HECK??????

 

WTF WINDOWS 10...

 

How Do I go from 120-240 FPS on High to 30 FPS on Low....???? 

 

My Old Card is Running Circles Around the New one on Win 10... where I was Getting Double... Double w/ the New Card on Win 7...

 

What is going on here...

Hp Z800 Workstation designed by BMW

- Dual CPU - 2x Xeon X5650 : 2.66GHz - 12 Cores 24 Thread Total

- 48 GB RAM - ECC DDR3 - (4GBx12)

- 1T SSD

- AMD RT 5700 XT

 

Upgraded From:

- ATI FirePro W7100 + AMD Radeon Pro WX2100

Firstly , you can use normal text , you dont need to space out each line an color the text and over punctuate with several question marks.

Secondly , did you wait for windows 10 to install update and did it actually install the correct display driver?

I suspect something got messed up with the upgrade install. I would suggest backing everything up and doing a clean install of Windows 10 if you can.

I did a Fresh Windows 10 install an nothing changed in performance....

 

How does it go from 120-240 to 25 FPS?

Idk about AMD. But make sure your resolution settings are good, not only in game but also in the driver options and look what percentage the graphics card is running at in task manager while you are running the game

Do a fresh install with no internet connected - and set windows to not install driver automatically ( do this before internet). That is the only way I can get windows to not screwing my performance.. :)
