Well true...But is it possible that i can get a performance boost in games by upgrading my Gpu?

Very very minimal. And the amount of hassle and but hery needed is not worth it. Save up for a new laptop

Hello! Thank you for checking my thread! I want to ask about bottlenecking in External Gpu's for laptops.

So i have an old Asus K46CB that i've want to install an External Gpu so that i can play my games with a higher fps...

Here are my laptops Specs:

Asus K46CB

Cpu: Intel i3-3217U @1.8Ghz

Chipset: Intel® HM76 Express Chipset

Memory: 8gb DDR3

Dedicated Graphics: Nvidia GT740M 2gb

I've checked my laptop for compatibility with a GTX 750Ti with the Exp GDC Beast V8.4 and i've seen a mixed performance boost on my games such as DotA 2 with a significant fps boost and games like Resident Evil 6 which i've seen a major performance boost. I believe its because of the way the games uses resources with DotA 2 using more Cpu power than a Gpu power (I guess?) or is it because i'm experiencing a "Bottlenecking"?

you need to understand that a free core 2 duo machine from about 15 years ago will outperform this machine cpu wise.

You would quite literally be better off finding a free computer and putting the gpu in that instead
