I was wondering if the MSI GTX 1070 gaming x and EVGA GTX 1070 hybrid ftw could sli. I'm pretty sure the MSI card is taller so a normal bridge won't work but will a cheap flexible one?

 

This is not for a pc which I am going to use. Just wanna do some testing. I am selling my old pc and might put 2 1070s in if performance is good. Otherwise I'll sell one seperate.

Software yes you can, but you need a soft SLI bridge.

Good to know Jurrunio... I have read in the past SLI both cards must be the same, but I guess this software SLI bridge will do it.  Good info.  BTW SLI is pretty much dead and nVidia knows it. 

Personally don't bother with SLI imo.  I would sell both those cards and buy a Super RTX 2080.  Or just keep one 1070 and sell the other one and save that money to go toward a future video card upgrade.
