PC crashes when DOCP turned on and rAM set to 3600 mHz (Ryzen 7 3700x and Asus Prime X570 pro board)

Specs

- AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor

- Asus PRIME X570-PRO ATX AM4 Motherboard

- Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory (1.35 volts)

Hello,

Looking for some help with my new build. Looking to get the full benefit of my RAM at 3600 MHz, so I turned on DOCP which set my RAM to 3600 MHz speed. Upon the reboot, Windows 10 crashed 3 times in a row within 5 minutes of logging in.

Doing some research of my own, I decided to try a lower speed (3200) and that seems to do the trick so far. No crashes since I rebooted to type this up.

I do have the latest BIOS on my board (1005, released 8/12). I have read that some people still haven't found their systems stable at 3600 MHz with these new parts, but curious if anyone is in my boat but has a solution to run at 3600 MHz?

Thanks!

Ryzen DRAM calculator should be my first recommendation. Will give you the values which would be optimal for your mobo&cpu&ram.

I bet, that you'll be able to run them stable at 3600mhz, though I think, more voltage will be neccessary. Check the chipset manufacturer of your rams with Thaiphoon burner, then use DRAM calculator to fine-tune timings-voltages and other features.

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )

I tried a config with the Ryzen Calculator, but my PC won't successfully boot. Had to reset the BIOS.

3200 seems to be the most stable. I hope to see future stability updates that can support my build at 3600.
