Hey.

While debugging my system I recognized something odd.

A few days ago my second screen suddenly turned off and my system was no longer able to use it.

Now I checked my recognized hardware and found a GTX 1180 appearing in the log. (pic related)

I have two graphics cards in my system: a GTX 980 in the second slot (the second entry) and a RTX 2080 in the top slot.

The RTX 2080 should be the in the first slot, but my PC recognizes a GTX 1180.

Is this some sort of bug?

I need my second screen right now and do not really want to hazzle with this right now :(

Any suggestions?

Spoiler

My question is: WHY DOES IT SAY GV104?

I guess GPUs from different generations mess up with drivers in some way or other...

Purify your Windows 10/11, don't give Microsoft anything that you don't want to share.

This setup worked until a few days ago, so I would prefer not to change it.

I'm currently working on my Master thesis and need my System for Machine Learning stuff. Therefore I need all my usable graphics cards right now and do not want to brick something.
