Ikea Malm Desk clamp mount

So I bought this desk Ikea Malm the one with the drawer on the side (in white color which acutally looks pretty nice tbh :p). And im planning on buying a monitor mount and maybe microphone arm to make some more free space on the desk coz it hella small (140cm) but ofc nothing can be perfect and I heard on some tech channel that its impossible to use the clamp mount which most of the monitor mounts and microphone arms use because of the thing that you are suppose to hide your cables in but I also saw one channel that somehow they mounted the thing onto the desk sooo if anybody here has this desk and knows the answer plz respond.

it is possible, and yes, i've also used a ikea desk, they are REALLY small...
