I recall that it beats the 2060 but not the super, unless huge driver optimizations have landed since GN reviews

The game selection in that review is really bad for AMD. Excluding exceptions that heavily favor Nvidia(Fortnite, FFXV for example), and AMD(Forza, BF5 for example) they are basically the same thing, but the 5700 is cheaper. But if the games the person wants match the ones where Nvidia is faster, than the 2060S might be a lot better, the opposite is also true, as in if you play only Forza might as get the 5700XT over the 2080TI, you will get the same performance for less than half the price.

 

I really want to know how the fuck the AMD cards are so fast in Forza Horizon 4, the 5700XT basically matches the 2080TI while the 5700 is between the 2070S and 2080S(closer to the 2080S), even games that heavily favor Nvidia cards don't have this much difference.

 

Also it is worth noting that Navi cards seems to struggle at higher resolutions so at 4k the Nvidia equivalents are probably slightly faster even if at 1080p or 1440p they are slower by a few %.
