Hi folks,

Is it enough to have one GPU for running 5 Full HD monitors or SLI is must? It would be for a wide video loop 9600x1920.

For example 1080Ti or RTX 2070 have 5 outputs right?

Is it OK to populate all outputs, to mix types, or should I stick to only DP or HDMI (hence SLI is must then)

2 x HDMI 2.0b
2 x DisplayPort 1.4
1 x USB Type-C

*Ryzen R7 1700 with decent air cooler and 16Gb DDR4 2400Mhz.

Of course they can. That's why this thing...

...a six-output AMD Radeon R7 350, exists, if all you want is a screen matrix for digital signage or billboard.

If you want gaming at such high resolution, then the real consideration is whether the card(s) is able to delivery that much graphic computation power to sustain gaming at 9600 x 1920 at 30/60 FPS.

No you cannot use more than 4 outputs at once.

If you want 5+ displays you need to use an AMD GPU or an NVS810 or quadro.
