Cancel 2070S order and get RX 5700 XT?

Hemanse

Saw the reviews for the PowerColor RX 5700 XT Red Devil today and they all look very good. I ordered the MSI RTX 2070 Super Gaming X Trio yesterday which is in external stock, so i have tomorrow to make up my mind. Im a bit torn if i should cancel the 2070S order for the 5700 XT, there is a performance difference, but it does not seem to be all that much. The MSI card is 670$ while the PowerColor is 570$ (Danish prices for the win).

Anyone that might want to convince me which way to go?

Ryzen 7 3700x, MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX, 16GB Ballistix Elite 3600MHz, MSI RTX 2070 Super Gaming X Trio, Corsair RM750x V2

You're looking for a 100 dollars difference for pretty much the same performance. If you think raytracing and dlss are worth 100 more, then go for the 2070S. If not, go for the 5700 xt

Cant say i really have any need for ray tracing no. I have not really seen any games that take advantage of it yet.

Ordered 3700x, Ballistix 3600MHz CL16, MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX etc. Tomahawk MAX isnt in stock before the 28th, so might be wise to just cancel the 2070S and wait to order the GPU, i mean 2070S might drop in price and we might see more 5700 XT AIBs.

Thanks :) Yeah, been reading around a bit and one thing that makes me a little hesitant in regards to the PowerColor card is their reputaiton in regards to support. It seems like they have some of the worst. My experience with MSI have at least always been pretty alright.

Seems like the best bet is just to cancel the order, i mean i can always order it again if i change my mind when i have the rest of the parts.
