30 euros keyboard

Epimetheus

Hi, i'm looking on my brother's behalf for an up to 30 euros keyboard for gaming (and with a numberpad too). What's the best option?

People often recommend this one:

https://www.amazon.com/Redragon-K552-Mechanical-Keyboard-Equivalent/dp/B016MAK38U

This video probably shows some good options too:

You could probably go for a rubber dome, but IMO mechanical boards just type/game a lot better and in my experience last longer too.

30 euros isn't really in "gaming" keyboard territory.

Main system: Ryzen 7 7800X3D / Asus ROG Strix B650E / G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO 32GB 6000Mhz / Powercolor RX 7900 XTX Red Devil/ EVGA 750W GQ / NZXT H5 Flow

weird flex but ok, there are keyboards made for gaming that benefit from short travel and keyboards made for typing etc

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Personally I think 37 euros for a K552 (if you're okay with a TKL board with Blues) is quite a fair price for something you're probably gonna use for a years. My keyboard costed me more (not a flex), but has been worth every penny, because a mechanical keyboard just lasts so much longer.

IMO, if you want to spend less on a keyboard, I found the Logitech K120 to be one of the more comfortable cheap/simple keyboard. Anything else usually has worse key feel (in my opinion of course), costs more, but does add lighting. It's also 9 euros on Amazon Italy at the moment.

Mechanical keyboards aren’t cheap for a reason.  You often get what you pay for so I highly recommend that he saves up and gets a decent board.  Anything cheaper than the Redragon is a gamble
