Never say never. Seeing as how Curecoin is falling in production, future graphics card horsepower increases might make passing them possible in the next decade.

IIRC, wasn’t HardOCP king of hill a few years ago? And here we are looking to pass them in 3 weeks.

Maybe one day people will stop folding for them and pick a real team then we could climb our way back up.

$5 per month if you generate 7M PPD or $10 per month if you generate 12M PPD.  Not really viable for most people (only the top 8 on our team would qualify).  Of course that's just the promotion this year.  It'll change again next year I'm sure.

I was wrong...  7M or 12M points per MONTH.  That's a big difference.

Let's see my card is about 4 years old so assuming it has been $5 per month for those 4 years, that's $240, or $480 on the high end. My card can push upwards 14M PPD per week. Simply put it could repay itself every few years, and the newer ones more so.

I think more than badges are in order, maybe free floatplane membership for every month we pass 7 million?

Why not hit up @jakkuh_t with your suggestion....

Would be nice if they gave a couple months to everyone who takes part in folding month next year, will have to start the negotiations earlier next time.

I can only see them issuing it as a reward for those who participate (raffle) over giving it to everyone who hits a certain PPM, even at 25M a month is not that impossible with my card. It's more expensive than paying for floatplane and they'd make no money off of it, so I really can't see it happening sadly, would keep the incentive to fold after the event too.

Card has been a problem for a while now, not surprised it died. Currently looking at 290X's on ebay for $50NZD and going hmm... maybe. Only because I have the EK block for it lol.

My Titan V shows anywhere between 2 - 3.5m ppd depending on the WU. And that's in Windows. I'd guess a V100 around the same, maybe a little more under Linux.
