Usually artifacting like that is drivers or GPU memory corruption for likely culprits.  If you're OC'ing the GPU memory, back it down.

Maybe the video cable? Or bad drivers, bad settings (too high refresh rate?), or the display itself is bad. Maybe try using a different monitor, to see if it's the monitor or the computer itself.

Stock speeds on everything. It's possible it could be a bad monitor but I'd be surprised. The GPU driving the monitor isn't even folding, the 2070S in the second slot is, so even if it crashed, it shouldn't affect the display.

Try a different cable, sometimes the most complicated problems have the simplest solutions.

99.9% sure that's a VRAM issue. Try downclocking the mem clocks, and if that doesn't work then try it in another system. If it still doesn't work then RMA.

I actually don't like having the badges, bloats the size (blank height space) of posts I make. I might be slightly OCD lol

Yeah but it fits 3 wide so... With the event badges it wouldn't actually change height.

It's a 1080 FE that is confirmed good in other PCs. It's sitting at idle literally just displaying afterburner and the FAH client on a 1680x1050 monitor.

It's definitely possible the display is shit, it's an age old monitor. I'm using the same driver in my main desktop and haven't had a problem, is it still possible that's an issue? It's the Oct 1 driver from nvidia

Ah, got yea... Luckily I got a free unlimited bandwidth upgrade 3 weeks back, it just bottlenecks about 90% web browser traffic for a few minutes indefinitely that's all... Guess I'll be looking at some stuff random stuff on my drives indefinitely

 

It just did a 4 minute pause and didn't fail, and it failed while I was trying to find a knock on wood gif... It's slowly getting to 100% every time it fails

Truth be told every time I look at it now I'm becoming more and more like my avatar, it also doesn't help I'm wearing a "We're All Mad Here" Cheshire Cat t-shirt  Help...

But isn't how you read it and how I worded it basically the same thing? It is attempting to get to 100% but keeps failing before 100%.
