Is an Asus ROG Maximus IV extreme p67 worth it??

I recently built a new pc and I thought that I could propably sell my old pc...it has an i5 3570 12 gb ddr3 and a 1050 ti and I saw on a shop near me that there was an Asus rog maximus iv extreme p67 for sale(I didnt see a price but who puts something in their shop window just for looks)  and on asus's site it said that the proccesor is actually supported however I am not sure!! Can anyone help me see if I can have my processor in there and if I can is it worth it because right now I have an Intel db75en and I dont know what to exactly do!!

That's a really common practice. 

 

Ask the shop owner if the BIOS is up to date and your CPU will be officially supported

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

No need. The cpu is supported and Maximus IV Extreme has USB BIOS Flashback so the BIOS can be flashed without cpu or memory installed.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

So I can, since it has USB BIOS flashback I can just update like that if @brob is right

Yeah you can just flash the new BIOS

 

But like @5x5 said, there's not much reason to go for a fancy motherboard that old

Not to mention that he's not even using a K processor. IMHO paying for overclocking features that you can't use seems like a waste of $$$.
