Why not use an M.2 NVME SSD instead of a SATA one ?

You might be able to save a bit of money by grabbing an R5 3600 instead of the 3600x and overclocking it, but other than that this looks pretty solid

It's marked as purchased so it's probably part of the pc OP is upgrading

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Great idea!  I just have the SSD from my current build but upgrading to M.2 is a good plan.

Thanks

M.2 is just a form factor make sure it's NVME. But unless you're moving large files constantly, like if you were editing videos a lot, you won't see much of a performance benefit. I'd just save the money and stick with the SSD you have.

What are you going to be using this pc for?

Gaming and just basic computer use, no video or photo editing or anything like that.

Then you won't need it. Just stick with the drives you have. Also are you planning on overclocking? If not I'd hold off on buying that AIO and just use the AMD stock cooler. and put the money towards buying a better GPU. The 2080 Super releases soon, maybe wait and check out the price and performance of that.
