Need help with picking a 1440p 144hz moniter

BruteSquad

So I'm looking at getting a monitor and have settled on two, the ASUS ROG Swift PG278QR and the Acer Predator XB271HU

I know the ROG is a TN panel and the Predator is IPS. For me, in America, they're both 500$.

My question is which would be better. I know the differences between TN and IPS but know that both of these monitors are considered amazing. not sure which way to go when spending this much money.

Well I want to get one that will last me a long time. Also, I want to have the quality of a nice monitor. You know PC master race and all

I also want one that will stay with me through the upgrades of my computer. I know that these two are really good. I'll definitely check that one out tho. Hadn't seen it in my looking around

So is your point unless I have both side by side it doesn't really matter?
