Last check before buying a new monitor.

Hey, just wanted to check in with you guys before pulling the trigger on a new monitor for gaming.

I already have an IPS monitor for watching stuff so this one would be for gaming and lurking the forums only so, I went with a fairly cheap 240Hz TN panel.

 

It's an Acer KG251QDbmiipx (Here a link to the specs: https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/490517a0)

 

Any thoughts on it?

Seems fine, but i would get the cheap Asus 144hz ips monitor they just released instead.

Afaik the difference between 240 and 144 is not that big.

But if you want to go all out on competitive fps games then the 240hz monitor shall serve you well.

@Origami Cactus I'm not sure what that one is called but I'll look into it. 

 

@Bearmann According to that thread, the panel is good but there aren't many extra functions and it's build quality isn't all that amazing but, I don't really care all too much about those anyways.
