How much space does the ASUS ROG strix need above the pcie slot?

Most of the card is below the pcie slot and not above it. 

 

@Ben17 If you're referring to how much taller the backplate makes the card, it seems to be ~4mm looking at the photos.

Update according to ASUS it seems to be 2 cm s that is recommended

 

"Hi there - you don't need much clearance in cm above the slot as the cooling sits below it. However a few cm of clearance is recommended to ensure good air flow
