MacBook Pro 2016 won't turn on. (A1706 13" W/touchbar)

So, I replaced my screen and now if I try and turn on macbook, nothing comes up on my screen or touchbar but my trackpad still clicks and if I plug in a hard drive or something that uses USB power it works.

help

Maybe it has detected new hardware or it's a failsafe or something.

You probably didn't connected the display to the control board properly. Try to reconnect the display cables.

Also, how did you get your hands on a replacement display? How are you sure that the display works?

Yeah, that wouldn't explain the touchbar not working. Unless the MacBook requires it.

The TouchBar is linked to the T2 chip but it does need a display cable to output. So it’s probably either a bad connection or the display controller went bad.

I was talking about the display assembly cable.
