Vulkan Issue With an AMD + Nvidia Hardware Combo

I have an Asus laptop with a Ryzen 5 3550H mobile APU and a GTX1650. When i tried to play doom, it wouldn't launch on vulkan and give me an error every time. No other vulkan software was working either. So i ran vulkaninfo and it failed with the following error : "C:\VulkanSDKBuild\workspace\Khronos-Tools\repo\vulkaninfo\vulkaninfo.c:5780: failed with VK_ERROR_INITIALIZATION_FAILED".

I DDU'd all the drivers and installed them again to no avail. However The second time i DDU'd i installed only the nvidia driver and ran vulkaninfo and this time it ran successfully but when i tried again after installing the amd drivers, it started failing again. How do i fix this and get vulkan running properly?

Specs:

  • Asus TUF FX505DT
  • Ryzen 5 3550H
  • GTX 1650
  • 512GB NVME + 512GB HDD.
  • 16GB RAM in Dual Channel
  • Windows 1903 x64
  • AMD Chipset Driver 1.6.13.0400

I have this exact same laptop and am having the same problem I dont know weather to install the latest version of the amd adrenaline software if that would help the problem as I understand it it's a conflict of the game trying to used the integrated gpu instead of the nvidia one even when you set the game to only use the high performance GPU so I dont know if the latest adrenaline software would help at all as I understand it fixed alot of bugs for the integrated GPU so I dont know if you ever had any luck with the problem thanks for any help
