Can a 2080 run dual 1440p@144Hz displays?

boberobbo

I am going to get a 2080 GPU (Gigabyte 2080 Gaming OC).

Will it be able to run two 1440p@144Hz monitors?

Yes you can, but:

Assuming these are 16:9 displays, is there any reason you want to run two?

Gaming only makes sense on one of them

Multitasking what? The only "real" reason for high refresh rate displays is gaming. You can easily save money by just coupling one 144hz display with a 60hz one

144hz is kind of useless for most things except gaming, save some money and get a 60hz secondary monitor

im running a 2080TI driving 3 1440p 100hz ultrawide displays, I think a 2080 could do that easily too.
