connecting a molex to a wall plug

Go to solution Solved by Bishop Crane,

I have done the same to jury rig a fan controller for a laptop stand before.
I've even used that fan controller!

You want whatever your local equivalent is of this;

Basically powers from mains socket to a single Molex

Hi, I'm trying to use these pc fans externally for other use. I wanted to use a PWM and some old power supply for every single fan but I found this controller instead. Only problem is: it connects via molex to a motherboard. Is there a way to connect this molex to a power supply, and if yes, what specs does the supply need to be and how do I do it?

Not sure what you mean by this. Molex connects to the power supply, not the motherboard.
