Laptops for college with Thunderbolt 3 for under $1000(Rs70,000)

Hi everyone

Last month i tried to find the best gaming laptop for college work and gaming for around $1700(Rs120,000) and i failed to get one. I had to sacrifice something like portability for performance or sacrifice performance for portability. So finally i decided to buy a $1000(Rs70,000) Laptop with thunderbolt 3 and spend extra $700(Rs49000) for an external gpu enclosure and a GPU.

I'm not gonna buy a GPU enclosure and slap a cheap GPU on it and call it a day. I'm going to buy a RTX 2070 or RTX 2060 and a GPU enclosure and connect with my laptop.

I need a Laptop with best Keyboard and trackpad for college work and after i return home, i connect it and play some games on it.

I need a laptop which can handle the horsepower of RTX 2070.

So please help me.

Thank you.

Edit:I'm planning to buy Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2070 or RTX 2060 Gaming Box and use it as my eGPU

DELL XPS line should be good, but my data is from 2017, i don't know where they have gone with it.

LG Gram is another good one.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

The problem is, higher end GPUs will experience more bandwidth bottleneck. You won't get the full performance of the GPU

I know that. But right now i have $1000 to spend on a laptop. So i'm gonna buy a $1000 laptop right now and save some money and get a eGPU later ?

2060/1070 GPU should be just fine for eGPU

For the laptop: Any preference on weight, battery life and display size? Mind low sRGB display and non-upgradeable RAM?

If you want best keyboard, Thinkpad is a solid choice, unfortunately there are only a few of them have x4 PCIe lanes TB3
