Laptop for college/school

Hey, sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. I was wondering if anyone could help me, I have tried doing my own research into this but haven't really got anywhere. I am looking for a laptop which I can use every day in college as well as play some games. Not AAA but more ESports type of games. I am also looking for one to be powerful enough for photo/video editing. I don't want it to be too heavy or bulky, just a nice size for everyday use.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you for your help.

A nice ultrabook/slightly bigger than that with a graphics card should suit that. XPS15 and ThinkPad immediately pop into my head, but I need a price range for a better recommendation beyond that.

UK, around £1000 (can be slight flexible), ideally lightweight. Good enough battery to last the working day.

Sorry, I'm not too fussed on max weight, I'm not too sure what's considered heavy. But a weight where I am comfortable carrying it around all day. Battery life minimum of 6/7 hours?

For your budget, if you want light weight - less battery life, more battery life - heavier. Unless you're fine with lower end GPU like MX250/MX150. So do you want to sacrifice on weight/battery life or you're fine with lower end GPU?

HP Omen 15-dc0003na

Lenovo Yoga 730 15 81CU0037UK - thin and light convertible, ULV CPU

Dell Vostro 7580 / G5 5587 - if you don't mind heavier weight + low sRGB display

Asus FX705DT, FX705DY - personally I don't like them but still decent
