590 isn't worth the money imo, with something like a 1070 going for the same price second hand

or step up to the vega 56

That's the worse selling Polaris based GPU for a reason you know... it's still behind a GTX 1070 but costs too much and consumes shit load of power, you're better off with a GTX 1660 Ti at this price point.

Absolutely wait for Navi, if you're into AMD.  They'll be the "latest and greatest", along w/updated benefits for future games and lowered prices for more power.

Here's a projection of the new Navi releases, but benchmarks will have to be released to see if they'll hold up w/drivers, hardware power, compatibility, etc:

Why are you sharing this chart? It's rubbish. 3 cards within 10% performance of each other is just not going to happen (3070XT, 3080, 3080XT).

Of course they're "made up", it's literally why they're called projections/possibilities.  Most cards in the past, in general, haven't had massive boosts in performance from card to card, especially when a half/ti version has been introducted.  The half/ti version is usually 15%ish more power than its prior version, so they're not goin to be some off the wall stats and AMD is well known for bein weaker than NVIDIA.  It's also why prices are generally pretty close from one card to another, especially if you go premium aftermarket/custom cards.  It'll be closer to the entry level of the next tier w/out the non-coolin performance upgrade.

Many of their card creators are goin to Intel, which's attemptin to make their own graphics cards makin AMD lower than their prior potential.  Losin think-tank power doesn't increase performance/stats.

A leak would be exact, not projected.  It's why it's a leak, since it would have exact stats (confirmed or unconfirmed at time of release, but confirmed once released).

I guess I missed the column on the right ?

That's pretty impressive performance per dollar, especially compared to the NVidia lineup.

At this point there's only speculation to be had, people can make educated guesses but that will still be what they are... guesses.

The 28th might bring some light though so stay tuned.

I currently have a RX 570 but if will definitely upgrade in a year or so if rumors are correct and I can buy a Vega 56 equivalent for around $200

We won't know until the stats are released, then benchmarks are made.  There can be projections, but they're not guarantees and software/firmware can assist w/fixin old issues and/or there can be launch issues that need to be addressed.  There's usually growin pains w/any new tech, moreso if it's rushed and under-developed like the RTX series.

If the projections are true and/or close, then the 3070 should be near the Vega series of cards, instead of the lower tier RX 500s.  It's possible they'll look to compete w/the middle and higher end graphics cards w/NVIDIA, especially since they flopped w/the RTX era in hardware and pricing; so it's a great time for them to capitalize.  It'll also help if they can get a quick foothold prior to the projected release of the Intel graphics cards (whenever that occurs).  AMD and NVIDIA have both lost think-tank power to intellectual snipers from Intel to make their products.

Once actual confirmed stats are released from the company that made the products (AMD/Sapphire/ASUS/etc) and the benchmarks are released, we won't know for sure.  Real world stats are what matter the most, instead of theory on paper.

There's no guarantee they'll be equiv., but there's def. goin to be issues w/future resistance w/newer games on an RX 570, especially if it's a 4gb.  Older games and less graphically damandin can play them for a while longer, but more graphically demanding and less-optimized games will def. have issues.  Waitin for a little while will def. be worth it, especially if there's release day issues w/cards, like the RTX still has 9+ish months later.

Vega 56s are approx. $300 right now, so if the power isn't what you're lookin for in the newer Navi cards, then AMD will likely keep droppin the price on the older cards, like they're doin now and you can just purchase one for cheaper; until they start to bottom out due to high demand and lack of supply from too many customers.  It's up to the market if they'll keep the prices low and sell them out or if they'll skyrocket in price when the supply is low but the demand is the same or higher.
