iPhone SE successor..

Would a refresh with updated specs/design make you buy it if the price was just right?

No, the size is too small. I'm used to the 5.5" size of the Plus iPhones. Also the bigger batteries of the bigger phones.

I definitely would if it had the hardware of the iPhone XR.

I've always loved the iPhone 5, 5s and SE's feel and form factor. I like big phones but sometimes, it's just way too unwieldy, especially when you're constantly pulling your phone out of your pocket.

yeah i liked the form factor. I used to own an iphone 5 back in like 2010-2011 (somewhere around that time) i liked the ability to use it with one hand.. made my life simpler.. lol

No thanks as far as I am concerned I may as well just purchase a modern phone at that point, as many of the benefits of that phone are not worth the trade-offs, in my opinion, though what I would like to see would be a modernized Samsung Galaxy S5 as that thing had a removable battery, water proofing, a bunch of gimmicks that I miss, and a light plastic body. (yes I liked the plastic, it actually made it more rugged, and I liked how light it was)

Nope. Small screens are nostalgia glasses and naught else. The iPhone 6 is like 200$ these days, if you really must have an iPhone...

I have an XR and I like it a lot, I wouldn't mind though if next year they took the SE body or size and shoved the XR parts into it. I dunno if I'd buy it myself but I like when Apple gives customers choices

replying to this on a 6se. It’s the 2nd one I’ve had.

The sales person actually recommended I didn’t but it.

I prefer the size. Apple iOS. Headphone jack. Physical button.

Not sure what I can get next. Recommendations?

I use the browser. Maps. Discord and podcasts. Not a power user.

1. There is no such thing as an iPhone 6se.. Please elaborate further on what phone you have..

2. If you like the iPhone, get another iPhone.. apple stopped including the headphone jack back in the iphone 7..

3. if you want a phone with a headphone jack go with a Note 9 or an S10+ (those are big phones however) You could always get a pixel 3a XL or regular 3a (both have a headphone jack) You would have to deal with sub-par internals but you would save a bunch of money compared to the $1000 phones out on the market..

Seems like apple has a gap in the market.

Not everybody wants to drop a grand on their phone.

Would love to see a 5 or 6 sized with new internals, headphone jack and button.

Rumour is that Apple may revitalize the iPhone 8 with newer internals.  You're not going to get a headphone jack again, though -- just grab the adapter, keep it attached to your favourite headphones and you'll be happy.
