x470 motherboard issue

Hi All.

Bought a motherboard on an online auction site https://www.johnpyeauctions.co.uk/lot_details.asp?l=3&loc=1&pageno=1&lotid=4781304

However, it looks like the arm to secure the cpu is missing? Will this affect it at all? More to the point can I rip a lever off another amd board and jerry rig it to work?

Many thanks

George

Lol you got lucky. But still if you got the board, there are replacements sockets availble which you can mount :). But it would be a difficult job to do

Somehow you would say that installing a cooler would solve the problem .... in a ridiculous kind of way.... I'm using a shadowrock tf2 and i'm pretty sure that would hold the cpu in its place too ;)
