New build - ITX Ryzen

Hi there,

I'd like a small ryzen build. I chose the NZXT H200 since it's not too small and has a nice look.

Right now I'm still rocking my i5 4690 and GTX970 but it's time to upgrade. My case is so huge and I can't stand it anyway (CM Storm Trooper).

Playing at 1440p 60Hz but only less demanding games: Rocket League, Age of Empires II, Two Point Hospital, etc. I might upgrade to a 144Hz panel later but I'm still loving my BenQ VA 32'' monitor right now.

Here is the list of the parts I selected:

Don't really like the mobo but it seems like one of the best one out there.

Any advice?

Thanks :)

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Sure :)

Aside from preaching the gospel of the Sugo SG13B, the H200's layout is fine for its size. I've built in the Fractal Design Define Nano S which is similar, but the only thing is that these are more "baby-ATX" cases than they are "Mini-ITX" so if you were considering really minute form factor then the shoebox size of the Sugo might appeal to you.

Actually baby ATX is better for me than mini ATX. I want a smaller rig but not a mini rig. :) But I'm not sure about the size with the cooler and the top fan. Maybe better with AIO? Never done it.

Nice parts ! Great to be able to get a 2070 for the same price. But I wouldn't need a 2070 so I would just lower the total price instead. And I have my preference for Seasonic :( the cooler will fit with the top case fan? And the GPU?

In that case the larger forms of Mini ITX cases like that H200 are fine. They do offer better airflow, so air coolers are still plenty good as opposed to water coolers (which are too expensive for their own good IMO)

then lose that preference. seasonic has some heavy issues on the s12ii/iii, m12ii, focus (including plus and platinum variants) and with that it makes only the prime good.

so get that nice cwt made rmx rather than a focus
