Cables on side of GPU yanked

OnlyAxolotl

There are two pin connectors on the side of my GPU (Gtx 1070). They aren't the power connector, I assume they are for fan controls or something else?

During installation I pushed up to lift my gpu and yanked one of them, there is no obvious damage but I have been getting really low frame rates. The temps never go above 60c

Pic?  I have never had a GPU that had extra wires to it outside of power.

The fan shroud (with fans attached) usually has cables to the pcb.

Pics would help indeed, and gpu temp normal but low perf might indicate power throttle (vrm overheating due to lack of cooling if the fan on that side doesnt spin perhaps).

Just guesses without pics, and report if all fans spin under load or not?

Those cable on the bottom right are the ones. Surely my GPU would be reporting the right temperature.

Thanks for the img! Looks like a strix? nice!! Do all fans spin?

Have you use hwinfo64 and monitored not just "gpu temp" but also "gpu vrm temp" (not sure if that card has that sensor though). I have strix 2060, it also lists 4 sensor for throttling (temp, voltage stability, power and one i cant remember right now). Maybe that can indicate low fps reason.

If its a strix indeed and you mean the connectors (so not the red blue green yellow connected in the pic) its probably the fanconnect headers (if fan or fans where connected you can prolly find the yanked cable and plug m back in)
