New build for Designer & 3D Artist

Need a new work computer and haven't been keeping up with tech lately so asking for some guidance.

Don't mind intel or Amd

The only thing I have is an old case (Corsair 200r, opinions?)

At least a 500gb SSD and 1tb hdd

Country: New Zealand (NZD)

Use for: Adobe suite and Cinema4D/Maya and mild gaming

Budget: $1400 USD approx.

What resolution and refresh rate are you wanting to play games at?

I'm not a gamer, as long as the game works I guess. Computer is mainly for working, and I have a 4k monitor sitting at home if that helps?

Ryzen has more cores and more threads at about the IPC of Haswell.

Intel, is facing supply shortages, but is better at gaming and Adobe Suite.
