Cherry MX Red in cheap?

Harkulles

Hi :)

I am looking for my first mechanical Keyboard, and tested different Switches. My favourite is the Cherry mx red.

Is there a budget no name alternativ with the same or similar feeling?

Thx alot for your help! :)

What's your budget? And yes, there are, and they might be even better than cherry.

Gateron Reds, Kailh Pro Burgundy, and Box Reds are smoother and cheaper. The Gaterons are the cheapest, and cost $2 for 10 switches.

Cherrys are not considered good in the enthusiast keyboard community. Generally, they're considered mediocre at best.

Burgundy, not purple. Dammit, these colour names

Just to clarify, budget for a keyboard or just switches? If it's just for switches the you are good, just read what seon wrote and buy some switches.

Yes, you can buy just the switches and but them in a modular keyboard like the GMMK https://www.pcgamingrace.com/products/gmmk-full-customized as for the keyboard for 40 euros, I'm not a aware of any mechanical board for that price.

What do u think about this?

Buy reddragon keyboard, there is a deal on it, at amazon https://www.amazon.com/Redragon-KUMARA-Backlit-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B016MAK38U?_encoding=UTF8&*Version*=1&*entries*=0 or on aliexpress there are many options for it https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=AS_20190330061542&SearchText=redragon+keyboard they are great for cheap keyboards, built like a tank, don't buy the one you linked, it won't be any good IMO.Maybe @seon123 could offer his opinion, i'm not that knowledgeable on these things as he or others.

The keyboard I linked had blue switches, not red or similar.
