Will my RTX graphic card work with LG Ultrafine 4K? Can anyone verify?

Raptor300

Hi

I have a Windows 10 PC with an RTX 2080 graphics card. I am wondering if the LG Ultrafine 4K will work if I connect it to the RTX 2080's USB-C port (Virtuallink)?

Thanks

Give it a go i’d Say. If not, use DisplayPort

Thanks for your answer. I plan on purchasing this monitor because I want a small 4k monitor. However I want to make sure it works so that I don't have to return it.

Is there anyone who can verify that the LG Ultrafine 4k works on Nvidia RTX cards through USB-C?

The USB-C on RTX cards is a virtual link for VR. You can sort of use it for monitors but only with a USB-C to DVI-D or DisplayPort adapter and it does not work well. Use Display Port or HDMI, USB-C on the RTX cards is not intended for connecting displays. Is there a specific reason you need to use USB-C, the monitor will come with a Display Port cable as that is the intended connection, most newer monitors especially 4K use Display Port.
